Happy Black History Month! βπΎ
This week, we're talking about:
- free rYOUminate events this year in partnership with the Seattle Public Library
- relationship resources ahead of Valentine's Day.
- rYOUminate news (SXSW + our podcast episode!)
Transformative Life Skills Series (Free events with SPL!)

We're hosting 6 sessions, from health to wealth and everything in between, in partnership with Seattle Public Library. We're so excited to host a series about life skills for 18 to 30-year-olds in our community. If you or anyone you know would be interested, please share this flyer or read more about the events here.
We'll post highlights from our most recent 1/29 budgeting and 2/4 career workshops on our Instagram page, so please follow us there if you're not already!
Our next event is on 2/18, and we'll learn about practicing boundaries in our relationships.
Relationship Resources (workshops galore!)
Speaking of relationships, our newest article details how we can audit kindness in our relationships to name, notice, and nurture what's draining and what's feeding our social battery. This can be a perfect skill boost to establishing or enforcing your own boundaries, and it can work with platonic, familial, and romantic relationships. Check it out below!

We'll also have an event on this very topic later this month on February 27 where we do just that.
rYOUminate in the news
We're so thrilled that we're one of 12 finalists in the world for South by Southwest's education startup competition: EDU Launch. To have rYOUminate's impact highlighted on such a national and international scale is incredibly validating to the work we're doing and who we're doing this for.

We also have a podcast that is public with Founders Live! This is a bit of a throwback to our pitch competition win last summer. We talk about our journey, preparing for the pitch, and why rYOUminate was founded.
